Tuition Waiver

The tuition waiver is state funded and awards free tuition for 40 cadets in the ROTC program. Note that the tuition waiver only covers your tuition and not room and board, fees, books, or other expenses. The tuition waiver is awarded every semester. Accepting the tuition waiver does not commit you to serve in the United States Air Force. This is free money!

To qualify for the tuition waiver applicants must meet the following criteria:

-Must be an Illinois resident (paying in state tuition)
-Must be a full time student (12 credit hours or more)
-Be an active member in Air Force ROTC during the semester the tuition waiver is granted
-Have a minimum 2.5 Cumulative GPA and a 2.0 semester GPA
-Must be in good standing with Air Force ROTC
